Garden Cage Contruction

It’s 10′.5″ x 7′ x 7′ so it will be easy to work in.

We covered it in the same nylon netting used in batting cages and golf course driving ranges. Hopefully it will keep large pests out. We get lots of hungry critters coming down from the mountains at night and have several cats so the netting seemed like a good idea. The decision to go with steel pipe instead of building a raised box was to avoid termites. The steel cage was about the same price as building a large raised box from a good termite resistant wood. We used hog rings to affix the netting to the cage.
